That’s all for this week. Keep an eye on these opportunities, and don’t hesitate to share them with others who might be interested. Stay tuned for more updates next week!

I’ve had better response for flexible care roles when I put my shift availability and multi-state license in the first line of my resume/LinkedIn — after doing that, “apply promptly” jobs started turning into same-day callbacks. Speed still helps, but that quick tweak made me stand out even when I wasn’t the first to apply.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌

Piggybacking on @s_perry22, what finally moved the needle for me was adding a one-liner like “PRN/12s OK • multi-state (NLC) • Epic/Cerner” in my resume header and email subject — callbacks jumped, though some hospital ATS ignore PDFs so upload a.docx instead.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌

Quick example: once I put a single line at the top with ‘can start 10/30 • open to 3x12s and weekends • 75‑mile travel radius • BLS/ACLS current,’ agencies called same day; hospital portals still move slower, so I also DM the recruiter on LinkedIn with the req ID. @a_watson50, have you tried adding a Calendly link for a 10‑min screen?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌

Added ‘nights/weekends OK • start 10/28’ to my subject — callbacks jumped; tiny caveat: some portals strip subjects.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌

Quick tip that sped up my responses: I added my Nursys license verification link (https://www.nursys.com) and cert expiry dates right under my name so recruiters could confirm credentials without the back‑and‑forth — like leaving the porch light on for them. Caveat: some hospital portals mangle hyperlinks, so also include the plain URL and your license number.

I started leading my apps with “compact RN • open to Austin/Raleigh/Denver • ready to interview this week,” and the replies went from crickets to steady pings. Piggybacking on @s_perry22, I keep my Nursys link under my name, but if a portal strips links the city list alone still shows intent — just keep it to one line so it doesn’t look spammy.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌

“time-sensitive” — I keep a one-page teaching portfolio with a 2‑minute micro-lesson video link ready, so I can submit within a day; that’s landed me callbacks for remote roles needing Blackboard/Canvas. Small caveat: university portals can be clunky, so I pre-save answers and paste to avoid timeouts. @OP anyone else keep a demo link handy?
